glottman at wynwood: a monthly soiree: this saturday, may 8 “naturist philosophy in design” 7 to 10:30 pm at 219 n.w. 26th st, miami during artwalk.

shots of natural vintage nudity off the shores of the french riviera, curated by love contemporary magazine will be project on a big scree to show you the secrets of this naturist colony.

7 to 10:30 p.m. at 3930 n.e. 2nd ave. second floor if you are willing to hop over to the design district, our flagship showroom will be hosting its own little party. enjoy a glass of wine while you meander through our maze of luminescent panels.

this summer “awesome” is what our collaboration with the american institute of architects at their national convention in miami beach is going to be!

the aia has asked glottman to design and run the lounge area and the point-of-sale boutique at the event.

glottman will build from design products, aia-branded miami memorabilia, souvenirs designed by local artists and repurposed construction systems in a way they have never done before. come lounge, hang, chat, mingle and shop glottman style with more than 20,000 architects from across the nation.

while taking on this endeavor, glottman promises to remain committed to the importance of architecture in design and the importance of design in architecture by reinventing the model for this type of operation.

the publication, encompassing mario nanni’s project “experimenting with light”, came out in march. nanni’s journey began in 2005 when he asked renowned architects around the world, “what does light mean to you?”

la petit papillon montessori school chose their theme of entry by examining different aspects of light. one of the topics that captured the student’s interest was “shadows”. the children had fun while discovering the different silhouettes they could make with light. children from the international christian school of miami participated in the project as well. one student. 

marina wakil, submitted a design that was selected for production by viabizzuno. 

congratulations! books will be available for purchase this summer. 

one love’s graffiti art tatooing the bubble chair by adelta along with some of our favorite balls: the tomato chair by adelta, the tom by artificial, the taurus and quin by mgx materialize and the random by moooi were admired by art walk goers throughout the night.

the event premiered glottman’s monthly soiree featuring experimental and limited edition furniture at our warehouse in wynwood

the crowd was impressed by the tunes of jesse jackson and photos by  martina hoogland-ivanow that flashed on a big screen. glottman parternered with love contemporary, a movement of pure modern love, to make the show a success.
